This tutorial shows how to install Retail Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 64 bit on a PC based computer. It’s made specific for the Gigabyte GA EP41-UD3L main board, but most of tutorial should work for most intel based main boards and core2duo or later processors. You just need to know exact hardware you use, and than select specific drivers and (if u use) DSDT.aml for your main board. Mountain Lion does not support 32 bit mode anymore…

Ati Radeon Sapphire HD 6670 1GB GDDR5 on OSX 10.7.4 / 10.8.2

This card should run OOB on hackintosh 10.7.x, and 10.8.x computers, however, not in my case :). If u put GraphicsEnabler=No, as somebody described in some tutorial, everything seems to work perfect, until you try to use DVD, or some software like Ableton or Resolume, or most of the games which crashes instantly. I think that the problem is in ATI d-sub connector, there are also a DVI and HDMI connectors on this card (you should use DVI connector), so probably OS X have a problem with d-sub which is not used any more on mac computers…

Installation of OS X 10.6.3 Snow Leopard on Toshiba Satellite M100-165 PSMA1E

method: iAtkos s3 ver2 10.6.3
( this method also works for Toshiba Satellite M100 PSMADA 01E00D, BIOS version 5, and probably with other m100 models )

Files needed:
iAtkos s3 ver2 10.6.3 iso image (search torents) – and burn on DVD
Toshiba M100-165 Extra Files can be found here or  here (copy to usb or cd)

Toshiba m100-165 PSMA1E hardware specifications:
MOBO: Mobile Intel Calistoga i945PM.
MOBO integrated Graphics adapter: Ati mobility radeon x1400 256mb (PCI ven 1002 dev 7145 ( QE/CI enabled, 1280×800)).
MOBO integrated Lan:Intel pro/100 vm (pci  ven 8086 dev 1093).
MOBO integrated Audio: Realtek high definition audio ALC861 (ven 10EC dev 0861).
MOBO integrated Wireless: Intel pro/wireless 3945ABG (pci ven 8086 dev 4222) (not working).
CPU:Intel core duo T2300 1.66 GHz 2MB L2 Cache, FSB 677MHz.
RAM: 3g pc6400 2+1 DDR 2 800MHz  memory (usually this laptop comes with only 512Mb of RAM(pc4200), u should upgrade this for snowleo, mobo supports up to 4GB…).

Installation and kexts for ATI Radeon X1800 XL

In this hackintosh tutorial find out how to install ATI Radeon X1800 xl 256mb Graphic card to  OSX 10.6.3  Snow Leopard  ( iAtkos s3 )  32bit ( 64bit not tested ).

First step:  Download this ATI kexts  to your computer.

Second step: Edit Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist file.
To do this first copy com.apple.Boot.plist to your desktop (now you are able to edit the file), open it with text editor and than add this string.
